June 17, 2019  "Nature Takes Flight" Photography on Display at John Wayne AirportBringing to life everyday images that may otherwise go unseen, the simplicity of nature, animals, and landscapes, as captured by photographer Devin Grady, become intricate imagery through the use of his artistic technique. Grady's artwork "Nature Takes Flight," is on display in the John Wayne Airport Community Focus Space from June 18 – July 18, 2019.
June 6, 2019  June 15th Proclaimed World Elder Abuse Awareness Day in Orange CountyEarlier this week, the Orange County Board of Supervisors declared June 15, 2019 as World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) to help raise awareness about the millions of older adults who experience elder abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. Members of the Board presented a resolution to leaders of the County of Orange Social Services Agency (SSA), Health Care Agency (HCA), District Attorney's Office, OC Community Resources' Office on Aging and other Orange County community partners to recognize their commitment to helping seniors live longer, safer and healthier lives.
June 6, 2019  Board of Supervisors Approves Developer for Major Mixed-Use Development Project in Laguna NiguelOn Tuesday the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the Option and Master Lease Agreements for the Laguna Niguel Town Center with Laguna Niguel Town Center Partners, LLC, (LNTCP) for a mixed-use development on County owned 24-acres property formerly known as the South County Justice Center.
